Pit bulls

Q: My neighbors have a pit bull. The dog is walked by her son, who is a juvenile. I thought this was illegal.

A: Partially correct. City ordinance considers pit bulls to be "dangerous dogs" which an owner is require to walk a dog with a muzzle and by a person over 18 years of age. To report a possible animal violation, contact Animal Care & Control. 105 S. OliveSt. :: 574.235.9303
